GranTurismo · second generation

The Maserati GranTurismo is a line of Italian grand tourers offered as a 2+2 coupe and, as the GranCabrio, a convertible. The first generation arrived in 2007 to replace the Coupe and Spyder, and went from design to production in just nine months. Across its 2007-2019 run, Maserati built more than 40,000 cars.

Early cars used a 4.2-liter V8, later a 4.7-liter version making up to 460 PS, in a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout; the track-focused MC Stradale claimed a 303 km/h top speed with a two-seat cabin and carbon-ceramic brakes.

A second generation launched in 2023 on new architecture, powered by the twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 in Modena (490 PS) and Trofeo (550 PS) forms with all-wheel drive. An all-electric Folgore variant produces 762 PS with a range of around 450 km.
