• When you submit a vehicle to sell: details about the vehicle and the contact information you provide so a buyer or our team can reach you.
• When you sign up for our newsletter or updates: your email address.
• Automatically as you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the searches and filters you use.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Show you vehicle listings and let you search, filter, and browse them.
• Save your favorite listings on your device.
• Respond to your inquiries and connect you with the relevant seller or dealer.
• Process and display vehicles you submit to sell.
• Send newsletters or updates if you have asked to receive them.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site, and understand aggregate usage.
• Comply with the law and prevent fraud or abuse.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

• With a dealer or seller for a vehicle you inquire about, so they can respond to you. Depending on the listing, your inquiry may go to us, to the dealer, or to both.
• With service providers who help us run the site — such as hosting, our inventory/listings data provider, our email newsletter provider (Kit), and analytics — bound to use your information only to provide their service to us.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or of us.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, if one occurs.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to run the site, remember preferences (including your saved favorite listings, which are stored on your device and are not tied to a personal account), and measure traffic. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site; Google may set cookies and process usage data on our behalf. When Microsoft Clarity is enabled, it records anonymized session behavior (heatmaps and clicks) and may also set cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, though some features such as saved favorites may not work if you do.

Third-party listings and links

Vehicle listing data may come from dealers and third-party inventory providers, and the site may link to dealer or other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, to respond to your inquiry, display your listing, or send you updates — and as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You have control over your information:

• Cookies and favorites: you can decline or delete cookies through your browser.
• Marketing email: every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, or you can contact us to opt out.
