Frequently asked

What is the difference between a 991 and a 992?
The 991 (2011–2019) is the generation before the current 992 (2019–present). The 992 is wider, fully turbocharged on the Carrera, and moved to an 8-speed PDK and a more digital interior.
Is the Porsche 991 naturally aspirated?
The early 991.1 Carrera (2011–2015) is naturally aspirated. The 991.2 refresh (2016 on) turbocharged the Carrera line; the GT3 models stayed naturally aspirated throughout.
How much does a Porsche 991 cost?
Used 991 Carreras typically start in the $60,000s, with GTS and Turbo models higher and collectible GT3 RS / GT2 RS examples well into six figures.
