Maserati M240

The Maserati MC20 is a two-seat, rear mid-engine sports car produced since 2020, its name standing for Maserati Corse 2020. Seen as a spiritual successor to the MC12, it marked Maserati's return to building its own high-performance flagship and was styled in-house by Klaus Busse at Centro Stile Maserati, with assembly in Modena.

At its heart is the Nettuno, a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing 630 PS (621 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 730 N-m of torque, notable for a Formula 1-derived passive pre-chamber twin-spark ignition system. A carbon-fiber tub, butterfly doors, and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission keep weight between roughly 1,475 and 1,540 kg.

Variants include the open-top Cielo with an electrochromic glass roof, the track-only MCXtrema, and the road-legal GT2 Stradale. From 2025 the car was updated and rebranded as the MCPura.
