The Lexus LC is a grand tourer and flagship coupe from Toyota's luxury division, replacing the long-running SC. It was based closely on the 2012 LF-LC concept, styled at Calty Design Research in California before development moved to Japan, and reached production in 2017.

The LC 500 uses a 5.0-liter V8 producing 471 hp with a 10-speed automatic, reaching 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The LC 500h hybrid pairs a 3.5-liter V6 with electric motors for a combined 354 hp, using a distinctive multi-stage transmission that combines a four-speed automatic with a continuously variable unit.

The LC is built at Toyota's Motomachi plant, the same facility that produced the LFA supercar, using master craftsmen from that program. Production is set to conclude in August 2026.
