The Lamborghini Huracan is a mid-engine, two-seat sports car built from 2014 to 2024 as the successor to the Gallardo. Revealed online in late 2013 and shown at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, it takes its name from a famed fighting bull. More than 1,000 orders were placed before its official launch.
Every Huracan uses a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 producing between 602 and 631 horsepower depending on variant, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a choice of all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. The base LP 610-4 reaches 60 mph in 2.5 seconds with a 202 mph top speed.
The lineup expanded widely: the Performante and STO sharpened track focus with active aerodynamics and extensive carbon fiber, the EVO delivered a mid-cycle update, the Tecnica emphasized road use, and the Sterrato added off-road ground clearance. The chassis is assembled by Audi before final build in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
