2022–2025 Chassis Type F171 5 trims

The Ferrari 296 GTB, built since 2022, marks Ferrari's return to a six-cylinder road-car engine and a significant break from its V12 and V8 traditions. It pairs a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 with an electric motor in a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, drawing on Ferrari's Formula 1 and hybrid experience.

The combustion engine produces 654 hp and the electric motor adds 165 hp, for a combined 819 hp and a power-to-weight ratio of roughly 560 hp per ton. An 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 7.45 kWh battery allow about 25 km of electric-only running. Ferrari claims 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed above 330 km/h.

The range includes the GTB coupe, the retractable-hardtop GTS, and the track-oriented Assetto Fiorano package with upgraded suspension and carbon-fibre components. A higher-output Speciale version, rated at 700 PS, was announced in 2025.
