CT5-V Blackwing

2022–present 1 trims

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the high-performance version of Cadillac's mid-size CT5 sport sedan, introduced for the 2022 model year as the spiritual successor to the CTS-V. It competes directly with the BMW M5 and Mercedes-AMG super sedans while offering something they have largely abandoned.

Power comes from a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 producing 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual is standard, with a 10-speed automatic optional. With the automatic, Cadillac claims 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 209 mph.

Its significance is partly historical: Cadillac has said the Blackwing models will be its last gasoline-powered V cars, making this supercharged, manual-available V8 sedan a notable send-off as the brand moves toward electrification.
